Tasteful Walking Tour – Waterford Harvest Festival
Discover Waterford’s vibrant food scene on a guided walking tour through Ireland’s oldest city. Led by knowledgeable local guide Sinéad, the tour travels from the quayside and historic Viking Triangle to the restored Cultural Quarter and atmospheric Apple Market, stopping along the way to sample food and drink from independently owned cafés, family-run hotels and lively gastro-bars.
Across three to four stops, guests will meet local good business owners, hear their stories, and learn about Waterford’s rich food culture, history, and contemporary dining scene. Tastings include the renowned Waterford blaa, artisan bakery treats, locally roasted coffee, handmade chocolates, a choice of two lunch dishes, and a glass of Irish craft beer, stout, or cider.
The three-hour tour takes place on Friday, 4th of September, from 11 am to 2 pm, meeting at Millennium Plaza on Parade Quay in Waterford City.
