Designed by Eddie Hackett and opened in 1993, the course is set amid rolling countryside with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, offering a peaceful and scenic golfing experience.

Known for its wide fairways, natural contours, and excellent drainage, West Waterford provides a fair but challenging test for golfers of all levels. The club has gained recognition as the home course of Séamus Power, PGA Tour winner and Irish Olympian, adding to its growing prestige.
