Full Greenway Challenge

Waterford Greenway is a spectacular 46 km off-road cycling and walking trail along an old railway line which runs between Waterford and Dungarvan. From the Viking City alongside the River Suir, out by Mount Congreve Gardens, through Kilmacthomas, across eleven bridges, over three impressive viaducts and through a 400m long tunnel; with wonderful views of the Comeragh Mountains and Dungarvan Bay.

Whether you prefer running, cycling or just walking – Waterford Greenway is an ideal route for all the family to enjoy. Greenway is dog friendly so make sure to bring your furry friends to enjoy beautiful sights together. There are several entrance points for the trail and on each of them you can find bikes to hire as well as restaurants and cafes for some refreshments while you put your feet up.
