Summer Camps at Dunmore Adventure

Give young adventurers a summer to remember with Dunmore Adventure’s action-packed camps for children and teenagers aged 5 to 17. From first introductions to outdoor adventure to full weeks of land and water-based challenges, each camp offers the chance to build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and have plenty of fun along the way.

Starfish Summer Camp: Ages 5-6

Designed especially for Dunmore Adventure’s youngest campers, Starfish Summer Camp introduces energetic five and six-year-olds to the world of adventure in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. With guidance from a team of dedicated instructors, children will build their confidence while enjoying a taste of the land and water-based activities developed throughout Dunmore Adventure’s 30 years in business.

The camp runs from 9.30 am to 12.30 am, Monday to Friday, and costs €195 per child. Campers meet in Splash Café each morning at 9.30 am, where an adult will need to help them into their wetsuit, and collection takes place at 12.30 pm from the Land Base in the harbour beside the car park.

Sharks Summer Camp: Ages 7-10

Sharks never stop moving, and this lively week promises plenty of action for children aged seven to ten. Campers are placed in groups of a similar age, with activities tailored to each group’s age and ability, offering a brilliant opportunity to make new friends, have fun, and achieve new goals every day.

The camp costs €325 per child. Book two or more campers on the same week to receive a €10 discount for each camper.

Trailblazers Summer Camp: Ages 11-13

Created especially for pre-teens, the Trailblazers Summer Camp turns up the adventure with plenty of action both on and off the water. Campers can learn new skills, take on exciting challenges, and meet a host of new friends throughout the week.

The camp costs €325 per child. Families booking two or more campers on the same week will receive €10 off the cost of each camper.

Adventure Skills Weeks: Ages 14-17

Adventure Skills Week is designed for teenagers looking for a challenge with a full week of outdoor fun, new experiences and opportunities to develop their skills. Participants will take on a variety of water and land-based adventure sports, from sailing and sea kayaking to Dunmore Adventure’s infamous Wibit Wipeout – all without phones or video games.

The camp costs €325 per teenager. Families booking two or more campers in the same week will receive €10 off each place.
