Seán Ó Sé Commemorative Concert
Celebrate the life, music and legacy of Seán Ó Sé, one of Ireland’s most cherished cultural figures, with a special commemorative concert at St. Carthage’s Cathedral, Lismore, as part of Munster Fleadh 2026.
This memorable evening will bring together music, song and reflection in honour of Seán Ó Sé’s extraordinary contribution to Irish traditional music and culture. The concert will feature performances by Torcán, Take Note Choir, and Cór Fear na nDéise, with special guests Seosamh Ó Cróidáin, Dr Labhrás Ó Murchú, and Dick Beamish, with Séamus Ó Leannáin serving as Master of Ceremonies.
Set within the atmospheric surroundings of St. Carthage’s Cathedral, this promises to be a very special evening of music and remembrance.
The event takes place on Thursday, 16th July at 8 pm and tickets are €25 plus booking fee.
