Tour of Ballysaggartmore Towers

Step into the past on a guided walk through Ballysaggartmore Towers, taking place near Lismore on Wednesday, 19th of August, from 11 am to 12 pm.

Nestled within peaceful woodland, the striking Gothic towers and gate lodges were built during the 1800s as part of a grand country estate and remain one of Waterford’s most intriguing hidden gems.

As you follow the scenic forest paths, your guide will share fascinating stories about the history, mystery and local legends surrounding the towers and the former Ballysaggartmore House. Along the way, admire the remarkable architecture, stone bridges and gentle streams while enjoying the tranquil woodland setting.

With plenty of opportunities to take photographs and soak up the atmosphere, this guided walk is ideal for anyone interested in local history, architecture, or exploring Waterford’s natural landscapes.

This is an outdoor event, so visitors should dress for all weather conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes or boots, as the paths may be uneven or wet in places.
