The Children’s Viking Tour at Waterford Treasures
Set off on a journey back in time with the brand new Children’s Viking Tour at Waterford Treasures, a fun and immersive experience designed especially for young adventurers.
This 30-minute walking tour invites families to explore Ireland’s oldest city through the stories of its Viking past. Young participants will hear thrilling tales of epic battles, sea voyages and legendary Viking kings as they discover the history that shaped Waterford.
Along the way, children will see a striking 40-foot replica Viking longboat and stop by Reginald’s Tower, one of Waterford’s most iconic landmarks and a lasting reminder of the city’s Viking roots.
Starting from The Viking House, this family-friendly tour is a brilliant way for children to learn about Waterford’s rich heritage in a fun, interactive and memorable way.

- Adults and children: €9.50 per person
- Under 5’s go free
- Family ticket: €35 for 2 adults and 2 children
Children’s tickets include a toy sword and additional swords can be purchased for €3.
