Waterford offers a network of sustainable routeways that let you explore the county at a slower, more meaningful pace. From the award-winning Waterford Greenway, which links Waterford to Dungarvan along a traffic-free former railway, to the quiet coastal roads of An Rinn and Helvick Head, these routes are designed for walking, cycling, and low-impact travel. Public transport connections make it easy to access starting points without a car, while the compact nature of the county allows visitors to combine greenways, coastal loops, and heritage trails into seamless day trips.
