Mobile Farm at Mount Congreve Gardens
This Easter Monday, enjoy a charming and intimate taste of Irish farm life at Mount Congreve Gardens.
We are delighted to welcome Agri Aware’s Mobile Farm – Ireland’s only fully educational mobile farm experience – for a special day designed especially for families.
Hosted by farmer Tom Dunne, this thoughtfully curated experience gives children a gentle, up-close introduction to farm animals in a safe, supervised and engaging environment.
Visitors can expect to meet a select group of animals, typically including:
- A calf
- Sheep
- A goat
- A pig
Rather than a large-scale farm event, this is a compact and educational encounter focused on quality interaction and learning. Through relaxed demonstrations, children will discover how these animals are cared for, the role they play on Irish farms, and how they contribute to the food we eat every day.
Set within the beauty of Mount Congreve’s 142-acre estate, it is a wonderful addition to a full day in the gardens.
Important Information
For hygiene and safety, all visitors must wash or sanitise their hands before and after interacting with the animals during the Mobile Farm experience.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Available to visit from 11 am to 4 pm.
