Joan Clancy Gallery 25th Anniversary Exhibition

Joan Clancy Gallery is celebrating in style this year with a special 25th Anniversary Exhibition.

Opening on Wednesday, July 8 at 7.30 pm, the exhibition will showcase outstanding work by twenty-five renowned artists – marking a significant milestone for the gallery and its artistic community.

Visitors to the upstairs Gallery in An Rinn, a scenic Irish-speaking Gaeltacht area overlooking Dungarvan Bay, Co. Waterford, are in for a truly special experience.

The artists include Catherine Barron, Blawnin Clancy, Beatrice O’Connell, Rayleen Clancy, Bernadette Kiely, Ivan Daly, Ciara Gormley, Gillian Wright, Andrea Jameson, Gooee O’Brien, Eilis O’Toole, Katarzyna Gajewska, Damaris Lysaght, Ann Nelson, Sinead Ni Chionaola, Sheila Wood, Annie Shaw, and others.

An added bonus is the guided tour, which offers more than just a walk through the gallery – guests are invited into Joan Clancy’s home, where she shares a heartfelt collection of personal photographs and memorabilia of her late husband, Tom, a founding member of The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem, capturing their legendary journey from Broadway to Hollywood.

It’s a unique opportunity to connect with a celebration of Irish contemporary art, traditional music heritage, and the richness of Gaeltacht culture all in one visit.
