The Italian Bakery opened its doors in 2020 on Georges St, 7 years after its sister business; No.9 Barronstrand St.
Opening during the height of a pandemic had its challenges, but the aim was to provide Waterford with an authentic Italian experience through the medium we know best… FOOD! We started baking a range of breads from near and far, and we then expanded into making fresh sandwiches, donuts, brioches, pastries and pizzas. It didn’t take long before we started getting recognised for our high-quality ingredients, pleasant staff, and beautiful surroundings. We have become known for our amazing pizza slices, and our adjoining Italian café. Pop in for a little taste of Italy.
