Boat Tours & Scenic Cruises

Perfect for family outings, groups of friends, birthdays, hens and stags, and corporate team-building experiences with a difference, these flexible charters can be tailored to suit your group. While smaller groups are welcome, groups of 8 or more are ideal for getting the most from the experience. Advance booking is essential.

Cruise past iconic landmarks including Hook Lighthouse, Duncannon Fort, Loftus Hall, Waterford Castle, and the meeting point of the Three Sisters rivers, while taking in hidden coves, historic waterways, and spectacular coastal scenery. Wildlife sightings are a regular highlight, with seals, dolphins, porpoises, seabirds, and, during certain times of year, even fin whales and basking sharks spotted along the route.

Trips depart from Ballyhack and Dunmore East, with alternative departure points including Waterford, New Ross, and Cheekpoint available on request.

Sea Angling Trips

Experience unforgettable sea fishing adventures along the Hook Peninsula and Waterford Estuary with South East Charters. Guided by a qualified skipper and experienced crew, these trips cater to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned anglers.

Reef and drift fishing trips take place a few miles off Hook Lighthouse, where the rich waters around the sandbanks and rocky reefs are home to cod, pollock, and wrasse. For more experienced anglers, wreck fishing trips explore the waters surrounding the many historic shipwrecks off Hook Head, offering the chance to catch species including pollock, ling, and conger eel.

Rod and reel hire is available, with tackle and bait provided on board, while the knowledgeable crew are always on hand with guidance and local tips. South East Charters promotes a catch-and-release approach while still allowing guests to bring a small number of fish home for a meal.
