Kite Design Studios – Craft in the Heart of Waterford’s Viking Triangle

Located at 11 Henrietta Street in Waterford’s Viking Triangle, Kite Design Studio brings together a talented collection of local craft makers, including The Irish Handmade Glass Company, Strong Roots Jewellery, and Gene O’Shea Jewellery.

More than simply a place to browse beautifully crafted pieces, Kite Design Studios offers visitors the opportunity to see the makers at work. Step inside the working studios and watch traditional skills and contemporary craftsmanship come to life, from glass blowing and cutting to silver jewellery making and traditional mixed metalwork.

With an open-door policy, visitors are welcome to call in and experience the creative process first-hand, meeting the people behind the pieces on display. There is no charge to visit the working studios, making it a wonderful addition to a day exploring Waterford’s historic Viking Triangle.
