Crime, Grime & Graveyards – Urban Underbelly Evening Tour
Step into the darker side of Waterford’s past with Crime, Grime & Graveyards, a special after-hours walking tour through Waterford City this Halloween.
Running for four nights only, from 27th to 30th of October, this immersive evening tour will uncover stories of crime, punishment, imprisonment, superstition, disease and death from across the centuries.
Led by two experienced guides, visitors will discover the people, places, and events behind some of Waterford’s most intriguing and unsettling historical episodes, exploring the parts of the city’s history that are often left unsaid.
Beginning in Waterford’s historic Viking Triangle and continuing through the city to Ballybricken Square, the tour offers a fascinating alternative perspective on Waterford’s rich heritage.
From crime and punishment to old superstitions and stories of life and death, the streets of Waterford are filled with tales just waiting to be uncovered.
