The Harvest Festival: Foraging at Mount Congreve

Reconnect with nature and uncover the hidden secrets of the natural world at Mount Congreve as part of The Harvest Festival.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Congreve’s 18th-century gardens and ancient woodlands, this immersive foraging experience invites guests to explore the wonders of hedgerow foraging and the rich biodiversity that flourishes across the estate.

Guided by a knowledgeable expert, guests will learn how to identify a variety of edible plant species, discover sustainable foraging practices, and gain fascinating insights into the hidden world of plant communication and adaptation.

This event takes place on Saturday, 5th September at 11 am and lasts approximately one hour, but be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before start time to get settled in. Tickets are €15 per person and booking is essential, with a maximum capacity of 40 participants. A moderate level of fitness is required.
