Poetry Day Ireland at Christ Church Cathedral
Celebrate Poetry Day Ireland at Christ Church Cathedral, Waterford, with a special evening of poetry, music, and community.
Taking place on 28th May at 7 pm, this free event will be hosted by Waterford-based poet, playwright, spoken word artist, and author Wayne Power, whose work is known for its powerful storytelling and local connection.
Also joining the evening is The Poetry Kiln, alongside a performance from the Sing for Joy Choir, a Waterford-based choir founded and led by Tara, a qualified secondary school music teacher, wellbeing advocate, and vocal coach.
