The Churchyard Sessions 2026: Alan & The Aftershocks

The Churchyard Sessions return to Waterford City this weekend, bringing the streets of the city to life with 17 consecutive Saturdays and six Fridays of free live music on Bailey’s New Street!

A much-loved part of Waterford’s summer calendar, the sessions showcase an exciting mix of live acts and create a lively atmosphere in the heart of the city every weekend throughout the season.

Kicking things off this Saturday (May 16th) with Alan & The Aftershocks, an energetic Irish Rockabilly and Rock & Roll band guaranteed to get you up for a boogie. Support act begins from 6.30 pm, with the main act taking to the stage at 8 pm. It’s the perfect way to start a summer of music, dancing, and good vibes in Waterford City.
