Vitamin Sea Festival

The Vitamin Sea Festival is a weekend programme of sea-inspired events organised by Taste Tramore, a group of food and drinks businesses. The festival celebrates the wealth of natural resources and businesses that can be found in and around the seaside town through collaborations, coastal excursions and taste tours.

The Vitamin Sea Festival is a vibrant, seaside celebration based in Tramore, Co. Waterford—an annual event blending food, outdoor adventure, creativity, and community. It’s slated for a weekend in mid‑September (usually around the 20th–22nd), offering something for everyone: families, foodies, wellness seekers, and nature lovers.

Highlights include:

  • Gourmet experiences & foodie collaborations – seaside pop‑ups, local restaurant takeovers, workshops (e.g., sushi-making), and foraging and fermentation demos .

  • Coastal adventure & wellness – sunrise paddleboard sessions with breakfast, beach yoga/HIIT, sauna by the sea, treasure hunts and nature walks .

  • Arts, music & traditions – live music (“Campervan of Sound”), craft workshops, historical walking tours, and the enchanting “Molly Doll to Sea” ceremony marking the end of swimming season.

  • Mix of free & ticketed events – a wide range of activities catering to different budgets, including some pick-up-on-the-day options.

Organised by Taste Tramore in partnership with local restaurants, cafés, producers, and Waterford City & County Council, the festival celebrates the unique connection between sea, food, and community, honouring Tramore’s coastal heritage.
