Ivan Daly Exhibition -Joan Clancy Gallery

COASTWAY Fuaim na Farraige-Waterford Impressions a solo exhibition of new work in oil on canvas by Ivan Daly will be opened by Dr Joe Moynihan in Joan Clancy Gallery at 7.30pm Thursday June 8 and will continue 11 -5pm daily until June 24 including the weekends. The elements at the core of Ivan’s work are the organic structures and the often sublime spaces of the coastal environment where he explores its physical and charged states through loose and bold painting. He holds a Degree in Printmaking from Limerick School of Art & Design. After a brief time with Limerick Printmakers and years working in the computer industry, he re-orientated his practice towards painting. Ivan grew up in Ballinroad, Dungarvan and his work forms part of national and international collections. He has exhibited at the RHA and RUA annual exhibitions, and throughout Ireland, the UK and in Singapore. Daly was a contestant in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2015. His 2018 show in Joan Clancy Gallery was a great success.
