After a brief time with Limerick Printmakers and years working in the computer industry, he re-orientated his practice towards painting. Ivan grew up in Ballinroad, Dungarvan and his work forms part of national and international collections. He has exhibited at the RHA and RUA annual exhibitions, and throughout Ireland, the UK and in Singapore. Daly was a contestant in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2015. His 2018 show in Joan Clancy Gallery was a great success.
