Spraoi Festival 2023

Ireland’s summer street party, Spraoi International Street Arts Festival, takes place in Waterford City on August 4th, 5th and 6th. The family-friendly festival presents street artists from around the world, offering street theatre, music, comedy and spectacle. The festival highlight is the Spraoi Parade featuring hundreds of costumed performers and spectacular floats weaving through the city’s medieval streets at night.

 

Sproai Festival- Ireland’s Summer Street Party, will feature 3 days of performance including dance, music and street theatre. The events will take place throughout the city from the Cultural Quarter on O’Connell Street, to Wyse Park and Adelphi Quay as well as a number of other locations throughout the city. Spraoi International Street Arts Festival 2023 offers a weekend of exciting entertainment and artistic performance. Get on your bike, get on the bus, take a train – just be here. On Sunday August 6th, at 9.30 p.m.. the sheer sorcery that is Spraoi Festival Parade will weave from a business park in Johnstown. Hundreds of costumed performers, incredible floats, live bands, fire, light, sound and special effects unleashed on Waterford streets for an audience of over twenty-thousand people.
