Tramore Racecourse
Tramore Racecourse is a popular horse racing venue which holds eleven meetings per year.
The course is a Grade Two racecourse and is noted for its right-handed track on a 1 mile circuit. Racing in Tramore originally took place on the beach in 1785 and was held there until 1911. Racing in the existing location has taken place since 1912.
The 80 acre venue now boasts totally up-graded facilities with three car parks, two stands and all-tarmac enclosures.
The festival in August is the highlight of the summer season, when over four days of races, fashion, and socialising attract over 25,000 people annually.
