  • The area known as the Nire, lies on the western side of the Comeraghs and hosts a treasure trove of coums and lakes. There are four marked walks of different lengths in this trail network. Three of the four coums in the area contain six of the Comeragh’s thirteen lakes.

  • Rathgormack Walks are a series of way marked road, woodland and mountain walks in this wonderfully scenic part of north Co. Waterford. The village of Rathgormack can act as your base for all of your walks in this area. It is possible to visit four of the Comeraghs 13 impressive coums all within 7kms of the village of Rathgormack itself including Lough Mohra, Coumduala, The Boola’s and Crotty’s Lake.

  • Two contrasting walks that take in both woodland and upland terrain can be found here along the banks of the River Mahon. Walkers can choose from the wonderful woodland surrounds of Crough Wood Walk or the venture further into the uplands along the Mahon Falls Walk.
