Always hailed as the start to a great season of food festivals in Ireland, the West Waterford Festival of food has been an annual favourite since its inception in 2008. With Dungarvan or (Fungarvan as has been claimed) as the gateway to beautiful West Waterford for a weekend full treasure trove to be discovered in food and drink. There is genuinely something for everyone in this festival with over 100 events planned for 2020.
This is a festival for all the family with a full children’s programme, foraging trails, bus tours, cooking demos, dining experiences from high end to very casual, plus of course the markets.
