Spraoi International Street Arts Festival transforms the streets of Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, into an imaginative performance wonderland featuring street, circus, music and spectacle acts from around the world. All events are free and the 3-day programme runs from afternoon into the night.

The festival wraps up on Sunday night with the Spraoi Parade, an exciting spectacle with hundreds of costumed performers, giant floats, light, sound, music and special effects culminating with an unmissable firework display from the River Suir. This year’s parade theme is ALL AT SEA - a psychedelic creation featuring the creatures and phenomena of our deep, mysterious oceans

“Spraoi is a free urban festival in beautiful Waterford in the south-east of Ireland. It attracts nearly 100,000 people and the city streets act as a stage for acts from around the world.”
