Come along to the #WaterfordWay Festival Market and Demo stage on Festival Sunday at the Waterford Harvest Festival .

We’ve been given our very own Market at the AppleMarket #HarvestFestival19, where we’ll have some food stalls in this ideal space.   With a big thank you to Waterford Local Enterprise Office  at this Market you’ll meet: Pure Food, The Sea Gardener, Mezze, Barrons Bakery, Nutrilicious, Baldwins Farmhouse Ice Cream, Early Bird Eggs, Comeragh Mountain Farm, Coffee House Lane, Dessert First…

 

We’ll also have our usual Demo stage, with some of our Waterford Chefs and Makers sharing the passion they have along with their lovely food, drink and stories.

Market, Demos and chats  on Festival Sunday from 12 until 6, in the Apple Market, Waterford City

 

Here’s a schedule of events planned – others will pop in along the way

12:00 Marie Power, the Sea Gardener, takes some time out from foraging to show us how to use seaweed in everyday cooking.
12:30 MOMO returns. Harry O Neill, Kamila & chef Michael return to our Demo stage to share their most recent local & seasonal ingredient finds, and how they use them on their menu.  Expect yummy samples !
13:00 Mark Bergin of Coffee House Lane  will roast some coffee for us right there at our demo stage.  Be ready to ask all your coffee questions while he does!
13:30 Marget Fleming of Dessert First believes in using simple quality ingredients in her beautiful baking.  Today she’ll be looking for some volunteers to show just how simple it is to make some great bakes!

Shane McGrath sharing his love for Waterford  Delighted to have Shane back to  show us how he loves to cook all local, the Waterford Way!Claire Dalton on Dungarvan Brewing Company  pops up with Shane as we see how easy it is to incorporate beer with our food.

15:00 Blackwater Distillery bring us a coctail masterclass with Itty Bitty Waterford.   Be ready to sample!
15:30 Nicola Crowley, Mezze Mezze pop ups, family feasts and now a new Deli – some tips and tales from the Waterford half of this duo!
16:00 Legacy Cider as featured in Bodega come out a for a chat and a tasting of their cider made from Waterford apples.
